Six Days or Six Ages? – By Ken Ham

Did you know that most Christian leaders teach that God’s cration took millions of years for Him to form?  There are others who say we just can’t know how long it took . . . or it doesn’t matter anyway.
But it does matter, and we can know for sure.
If you say creation took a long period of time, then ask yourself, “Where did I get this idea?”  If you are really honest, you didn’t learn it from the Bible.  You got it from teachers and scientist.  By doing so, you have just used man’s ideas to judge God’s Word.

But if you start with the Bible’s language, you’ll find that the Hebrew word for day, “yom,” as it’s used in Genesis chapter one, has to mean an ordinary day.
Why does the length of the creation days even matter?  First, we need to take God at His Word.  Otherwise, we could the meaning of any Bible teaching.  Second, as soon as we accept millions of years, we’ve allowed death and suffering before sin.  That directly contradicts the Bible’s teaching and undermines the atonement message.
There is no doubt: creation took six, 24-hour days!
